Canada - part four

9.40am
I slept better last night then I have been doing while we’ve been here, I think I only looked at the clock once in the night and was actually still asleep when my alarm went off a 6am :-) My mum said she was still asleep when my alarm went off too – things are looking up!!

When I go down to the pool I always put my swimming cap on before I leave the room. This morning a man got in at floor 4 and when he looked at me he said “I don’t think it’s going to rain” haha. So I replied that I was guaranteed to get wet where I was going ;-D

When I went got to the pool area there were hardly any towels there. One morning when I went down there was a towel on the back of every chair and the 3-tier shelf unit was full of towels too – this morning there were only about 5 on the backs of chairs and none on the shelves. I hope they’ve been replenished by tomorrow!!

There was a different lady than normal in the gym today – maybe the other one has left now.

When I got back to the room and got in the shower I heard a knock on the door – the maid came REALLY early today :-o My mum told her to come back later LOL

Breakfast was quite busy again but I think most of the sports team had been and gone by the time we got there so it wasn’t quite as bad as yesterday.

By the time we got back to the room the maid had been and done the beds and towels etc and all I’ve done since is mess about on the computer :-) We’re getting picked up around 11.30-12.00 to go to Dixie Mall – all we’ve done since we got here is go shopping *rolleyes*.

Well we’ve been out to Dixie Mall today and last of the big spenders me – I spent less than $10 (not including lunch) hahaha.

When Liz and AB came to pick us up I was doing the brain age check on the DS and cos I was so distracted it told me I was age 56 hahahaha – that’s the oldest score I’ve ever had!!!!

There’s not really a lot to say about yet another shopping trip *rolleyes* We did try lots of perfumes so we came home smelling quite ….. ‘nice’ hahahahaha The only person in the group who actually bought a perfume was AB. I bought a few more souvenirs and a few sets of earphones cos I saw the exact ones I’ve been looking for at home but had no luck and these ones I saw today were only $1 each so I got 4 ;-D

Mum also bought a few souvenirs as well and AB bought some groceries – I can’t actually remember what Liz bought :-/

We got back here at about 4.20pm and I’m going down to the gym soon. I’ve got 3 new pairs of trainers to try out ;-D I bought a new pair myself the other day then there’s also 2 pairs that AB brought down that don’t fit her properly.

As long as no-one messes up my system I intend to do my normal in the gym – 20 minutes each on the cross-trainer and bike and 25 minutes on the treadmill – haven’t decided what order yet.

I’m now sitting here eating my tea – decided to be naughty-ish and I’ve got cheese on toast with tomato and cucumber – and very nice it is too :-)

I had the gym all to myself for the whole 80 or so minutes I was there :-) I did the bike for 25 minutes, cross-trainer for 25 minutes and treadmill for 32 minutes and, according to the machines I burnt about 700 calories in total – which I’m currently negating with my tea haha :-) I tried some new trainers – the white and pink ones that AB brought down, I wore them for the bike and cross-trainer but my feet were starting to hurt so I went back to old faithful for the treadmill.

When I went back to the room we had to decide whether we were staying in for tea or going to the café next door, after some discussion we decided to stay in seeing as we’ve already had a proper meal today. Once that decision was made I changed into my pyjamas.

We were discussing our plans for the next few days and I suddenly realised I didn’t think I had enough clothes to last until our designated washing day which is next Wednesday. I figured out I’ve got *just* enough clothes but even then I’m going to be wearing a t-shirt which is meant to be a pyjama top one day hahaha.

We’ve also decided that on the day we’re doing the washing we’re going to Rockwood Mall in the morning for the bank. Rockwood is the mall opposite where AB lives now but we’ve decided to go there because it’s also got a big grocery store as well as all the other shops like dollar stores and the such-like.

Later on I’m going to put some addresses on postcards – at least then that bit is done and I can write some ‘stuff’ on them at a later date when we’ve actually done something to write about!!
